Anyone else pre-order the Polar Pro filters for the Mavic 2 Pro? I got a shipment notification on the 21st saying they had shipped. I was very excited because their site originally said they wouldn't ship until September 27th. I thought I was going to get them early. But they've just been sitting in pre-shipment for 3 days, and now their website says they aren't shipping out until Sep. 29th

Guys, have you been seeing YouTube videos regarding the image quality of the 1" sensor on the Mavic 2 Pro? It's not quite up to par with the older P4P. Some are saying DJI over stated the capabilities of the camera with the Hasselblad name on it.

From the tests I've seen, the P4P does appear sharper on Youtube. Not extremely, but slightly sharper. However I spoke with a P4P owner very recently and he told me that he feels DJI uses some sort of extra digital sharpening on the P4P. He said he thinks it's over sharpened and looks a bit off when analyzing his footage. So maybe instead of the capabilities being overstated, DJI just didn't apply the sharpening algorithm to the Mavic 2 Pro like they did to the P4P. From the photo examples I've seen there is no difference except for the warmer tones that come stock out of the Mavic 2 Pro.

As I have stated in my initial impressions, M2P's IQ is equal at best (probably slightly less sharp) when compared to P4P. However, I can definitely live with that given the portability of the M2P. Not only is it ultra portable, M2P is so much quicker to set up and fly compared to P4P as well. As I'm slowly giving more and more time with the M2P, the IQ is becoming more than acceptable and my comparing with P4P's IQ has stopped. What you shouldn't do is compare the IQ with your A7RII files.. You'll be sorely disappointed. I'm just very happy we are able to capture aerial photos in quite decent quality.

Thank you to both of you for the reassurance.

Beautiful sunset! Did you record in 10 bit D-Log and color grade, or were these auto settings?

I shoot in D-Log but I'm rather new to color grading in video. Still learning for sure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA7bSVss1zY (external link)

How: Guy bought an old decommissioned airliner
Why: It's used as his home
Where: Somewhere way out in the woods! ;-)a
