This is a beautiful looking bird, and your images are so nicely done. I especially enjoy image #2

Magnificent, Dan!!

Thanks, Mike. One of the easiest BIF shots I've ever made. The birds were nearly hovering at eye level with a viewing area on a cliff. That's why the framing is so tight. Trying to get that blue eye to show.

Great shot. Love this bird, First time I saw them in (Red footed Boobies, assuming they are the same or related) in Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife refuge in Kauai Hawaii.

Thanks for commenting, Peter. Yes not the same bird but related to the boobies.

Excellent shot, Doc. It's tough to catch that many of them water skiing together like that. :p

Well you sure got the blue eye to show, and really nailed the shot.

Superb series here Shalu. I will stay tuned on the edge of my chair, waiting with intense anticipation. I'd like to see the catfish make it out alive for once.

Thank you very much, Mike! Unfortunately the fish just couldn't catch a break. As it dropped into the water, a gull went in to retrieve it!

Beautiful.
Interesting the way the coot is tucked into the body. Doesn't lose much streamlining with the catch.
