This guy was nearly sucked up the vacuum, fortunately I was quick enough to stop that and capture a couple of shots before letting him loose outside

I catch wasps and let them go also, but not usually with my bare hands! I usually catch them under a glass with a piece of cardboard. Beautiful shots!

Lovely capture. Nice looking wasp, the solitary wasps are generally harmless (to people).

These guys are generally fine unless you disturb their nest then they will take chunks out of you, literally :D
