Truly wonderful. What an amazing site. Never see anything like that here, unfortunately.

They are pretty cool birds to watch hunting. Thanks for commenting.

I love the birds you folks have down under. First trip down there I managed to shoot 30+ species I'd never seen. OK a few such as oyster catchers were very similar to home though technically different species :-)

Haven't noticed any Kingfishers on this thread. I expect there are some, but anyway, here are a few of my meagre attempts.

This shot was of a bird rushing past in pursuit of an interloper, probably one from her last brood.
