Couldn't agree with you more, I really miss the 24TSE especially for shift. I wish Sony releases a native TSE solution someday.

yeah, I don't use the tilt function really...if Sony would release a native FE Tilt Shift...I would sell stuff off to acquire it...

I have a problem with the FE 16-35 f/2.8 (not the lens :P ) ...... My head is constantly shaking and turning in disbelief that it's such a stupid amazing lens LOL :P

Finally made the decision to order this lens from Toronto Canada's Sony warehouse. Finally I can use my A7iii for my family video documentation.

I'm surprised there is few users on this forum. Now I'm finally experiencing some native glass. The Sigma 24mm Art still produces excellent Iq but now the GM24mm is on my radar. I'm finding the side button on the lens is incredibly useful in focus hold.

Now I just have to get out and find time to shoot..... :)

I got to to snap a few frames on one that Travis rented for a wedding we shot.

I was really impressed with it.

I want one. But also the 12-24....or maybe laowa 10-18.

I've been on the UWA fence for like a year lol

Just packed the 12-24. Headed to the coast for wildlife refuges but there is a fort there and 12mm might
be appropriate.
First time not taking the 24-105, it's been so good to me, but want to take the Tamron 28-75 and do something
with it.

It could be coming soon. Sony is planning to announce 12 new lenses. Nice work Travis. I would love to get the 17mm TSE too.

with the B18 acting up...I am tempted to get it fixed and sell it on...sell the 50Art and pick up the 16-35GM. The only drawback is the hunt for focus that I experienced in low light...

This is why I love the TSE concept...an image like this isn't really possible without one...at least not without a lot of distortion and correction in post...

I get less artifacts if I shoot in uncompressed mode when I use my 24mm TSE. Give it a try.

I can only hope that one is on the way...I really, really enjoy shooting 3 wide landscape panos with the TSe...

I saw a pair at a gas station in Miami once. It made me laugh because I was so excited the first time I saw one in the wild.

There are few things in the world that make me smile like these birds. They are everything that is right about vast parts of Florida untouched.

Yeah, use to do that alot with my 24TSE especially when shooting vertically waterfalls. Let's see what they bring out, I suspect there will some super-teles in the mix aswell.

The 12-24 doesn't disappoint but I think a 10-18 and 16-35 GM is a better combo. That 10-18 sunstars are amazing

Here is a recent Nasa visit with the 12-24

I've been on the UWA fence for like a year lol

My universal lens I always use is the 16-35 f/2.8 with my Canon or MC11 adapted to my A7iii.

I've had an eye on the GMaster 16-35 but didnt feel spending the money. I couldn't wait no longer :) Navigating with this lens just feels so much better than my adapted Canon 16-35. Using native glass is just putting me in a comfort zone while I practice with this lens.

Even though I love UWA I dumped my Fuji 10-24mm as I was just not feeling the love with the aps-c f/5.6 dof while shooting wideopen at f/4 with crop. The new Fuji 8-16 f/2.8 is 1.77 pounds and I just logically went for the GMaster instead.

Sony really has screwed me up LOL!!! Dont get me wrong I still love my 5dmk3/4 but the Sony is a detail monster even with it's lower res 24MP sensor. The image quality is different than the Canon and Fuji. Different is a good thing!!! what baffles me is how stupidly spoiled I've become with the high iso capabilities of the 5dmk4 and A7iii.

Now i'm torn in the next native glass to buy.

I noticed a slight bluish line along the diagonal in your first image. It could be jpeg compression artifact and not caused by the lens.

I was getting weird fringing especially shooting at blue hour but it improved when I switched to uncompressed RAW.

Indeed, the 10-18 + 16-35 is a better combo.

Biggest downside would be too much gear to lug around ;-)a

Never ending gear chase lol
