Thanks Tim. I trust we all have some fun with them.

Good range of topics, Don. Hopefully I'll actually participate this month. I barely even picked up a camera in September, and when I did I was taking images of computer guts or screenshots of BIOS settings, etc.

My brother and I replaced hard drives on both my desktop PC and my netbook, which of course involved backing up all data, reinstalling Windows 7 and my other programs, re-doing all my settings... Then my bro suggested I try Linux on the netbook since it's so much faster etc (and if I decide I like it he thinks I should put it on the PC, too...) Oh, and don't forget the troubleshooting when things didn't work quite right because of all the Windows updates that needed to be caught up, and the missing drivers found, and ... sheesh. And this all started because I was having RAM issues on the PC...

Where's the smiley for pounding your head against the wall ?

Best of luck with you new computer hardware. Changeover involves a lot of work.

Freezing fog in the forest - near Cloudcroft NM. Rime ice is not something this desert dweller gets much of a chance to see.

Thanks Debbie. Visited my daughter and son-in-law in Sierra Vista last week. Nice to see some green in the area for a change.
