Wonderful light and clarity.

Thank you, this time I tried using a tripod rather than hand held, I think I will lug around my tripod from now on :)

I won't go landscape shooting without a tripod.

Gotta join the rest of the group here and commend you on these. Looks like you had the passion enough to stalk the Tetons until the light was right. And multiple times. Bravo!

I generally do but I almost did not since it was 15F and I was eager to get the shot and get back in the car. I ended up setting up the tripod and camera and running back to the car to warm up occasionally.

Thank you! It was pretty cold at around 15F and had to drag myself out of my really comfortable and warm sleeping bag which was the hardest part :)

Also, I just realized the lighting is Alpenglow! Oh and both the images were about 30 minutes apart on the same morning.

Awesome photos. Congratulations. Are they recently taken? If not would you like to write at which season have you shot them?

Yes these were taken last week on the same day about 45 minutes apart.

It is fall here in the US now so it was in fall in which I took the pictures.

The weather in Grand Teton was quite cold that time if the day, it was around 15f in the early morning hours with wind chill.

Canon 1D Mark III, with the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 ART lens. This crop lens works very well with the APS-H sensor. Corpus Christi, TX.
