Achieving Sharp results w/ 1.4x extender?

I'm happy with the MFA that I did w/ Phil. Getting much better results under all conditions but having plenty of light really helps matters.

thanks and I agree, the first image is the sharpest by far, much better light. The lens/extender is dead on now & the rest will be up to me to be a better photographer.
