Wow, looking at this thread again and, almost by reflex, was going to 'Like' this post only to see that I already done so.

In your experience, has the lens been consistently sharp at 100mm? According to the review on the Imaging Resource, its performance at that focal length is a bit lackluster...

I'm often at 400mm but sometimes I take landscape shots at 100mm and they have been sharp .

A bit noisy but I was seeing how low I could go with OS and still get sharp images.... 1/125 @ 400mm on a crop....First image is a result of the second image- he wanted to meet the Chipmunk....
