I was heading to the toilet when I seen this bird on the lawn.
I thought it was just a common Pigeon but I was to get a surprise.

I went into the lounge area where my camera is and grabbed the camera.
I knew I had a setting in it for bird shots and I found it quick quick which is unusual.
And I got a few shots off and I was happy to get them to.
With the new camera I am still learning with.

Oh wow, what a thrill that must have been! I love looking out the window and seeing amazing birds in my yard. Of course, this is one I won't see!

I was so pleased that it stayed long enough to get my camera out.
And its the 1st time I have seen one of these.
