Been rainy since the above shot..... so I processed another stack from the same night. This time I stacked 175 of the 180 images shot in this series. A little better result. Posted at maximum forum size of 1600px. Hoping for another good night soon!!

Last night was OK for me - Moon still much too low, but seeing not bad - and I love these thin crescents!

Very best,

Thanks much for your input Martin! I actually think I DID oversharpen a bit here... but only a bit and I wanted to get something posted before going to bed. YOU know how much time goes into these things! lol Again really appreciate your input - positive OR negative! But of course I am happy you like it! The bar you set is pretty high! :)))

Another decent night! :)
Stack of 120 frames.

Not happy with the top of the frame... perhaps my stacking went awry - always experimenting. I think set too many alignment points.... or not high enough quality images. Very annoying, this was the sharpest series, but about half way across the frame I had not realized I was partially obscured by the roof of my shop and so had only 138 images instead of the 250 or so I can get. (shot this on a break at work)
