Been through my fair share of em. I still have my 12mm fisheye. I'll be trying the GM out for awhile but the canons are up for sale without interest and for now it's just a debate between the GM and the 12-24.

I wanted to do some testing too.

Go back 5-8 years ago and I was shooting constantly at 17mm on the 5D2 as my 'wide' - my others were 50/1.4 & 135L

Now, the widest lens in the past 5 years has been 28mm......

Hello everyone, what did I miss? :)

Sitting at Toronto airport and came back on to POTN to find over 300 posts waiting on this thread. Took a minute to read through there!

I'm the other way around, started with the 17 moved almost exclusively to 21 and now I'm back to 15-16 with the occasional 12mm.

I've been a prime shooter on the wide end for years but last year I added the 12-24 and the 16-35 GM. I consider them to be two very different lenses, each with their strengths and weakneses so I ended up keeping both.

hot off the cards, from my outing tonight...Alfredo did this spot much better, but this time I actually got one I liked...still wish I had gone last night, the sky last night was so mega...I would have really liked to have the 35 tonight...so I cropped some in on this...but had I shot it with the 35 the framing would have been better suited...this didn't crop right taking out too much...

Hey will this one fit for this week's challenge? There is a road in it :)
This is in the Savannah NWR we spent several days working this past week.

Eddie for you, notice we've added a fog light package on the grill guard. Next week I'm
adding driving lights to the guard and a LED light bar up on the roof.

I'm hoping it works out well for timelapses, could really use a 3rd POV!

and no larger than the camera intervalometer needed since the V still takes the apps :)
