Very low light in the park today, so I really had to up the ISO. Met a couple of interesting characters, though.

Met these little chaps, too. ISO 4000 doesn't seem to bother the 5D. Second one handheld at 1/80.

Received the new toy.

I normally have an adjustment period where I warm to new gear, including tv's, cars and the like. Not this time, love it from the off.

Sadly, one of my fav things so far is the shutter noise!
Love being able to assign two buttons for BBF, one shot and servo, seamless in practice.
Focus in low light is great.
And I'm quite taken back how much better the high ISO pics are. So much less colour noise. It is quite a bit better than I expected from the many reviews I studied.

Not convinced by the position of the new extra button yet, but I'm sure my digits will get used to that eventually.

With all this mirrorless activity going on I really questioned whether or not I was doing the right thing with the mark iv. 100% confident I've made the right choice after one evenings worth of testing 8-)
