I always enjoy this stage of the flowering period. Some I know, must 'dead head' them the moment they lose their peak.
Miss out on scenes these offer.

Hi Richard. It has large leaves (as its Latin name suggests) the size and shape of dinner plates during the wet season, and drops them as soon as the dry season starts in early May, to conserve moisture. Then it flowers sparsely through the dry season on bare wood.
