Looks like they are shipping to customers. Excited to see what this camera can do!

Curious to see how the adapted EF fast lenses will work with eye focus, particularly the 85L, 135L and 200 F2.

Hey, I have the R but waiting on my adapter to test lenses... It's a fun camera so far, very well built and so many customizable buttons! I'm still trying to find the best layout for how I shoot, I've always used manual mode but might try the priority modes. If you're considering getting one and have questions ask away!

When you get your adapter and if you have some fast thin DOF lens, could you try the eye AF and test its speed and accuracies? Thanks.

I picked up my R yesterday but NO adapter, two weeks out :( How could Canon screw this up so bad and not have the adapters ready with the bodies. I got the last standard ($99) adapter from B&H. I pre-ordered both the R and control adapter on Sept 9.

Definitely, do you have a specific lens you want tested? Also we have a canon rep visiting soon if you have questions for him I can relay those

One from my post to the anticipation thread, and a couple of new ones. These are straight out of camera, resized to 1280px for the forum post, but no other post processing.

I had no issues with an older 580EXII flash, and also no issues with a much newer Flashpoint XPro and Flashpoint evolv 200 (Godox AD200) remote battery strobe. I have seen a mention of banding and other issues with the Godox gear on canonrumors, but I didn't see any problems.

EF 85mm 1.8 F2 1/100 sec ISO 8000 - I believe this may have been face tracking, but I won't be able to confirm until Sunday when I'm home. I was able to face track the cat, although not 100%. Face tracking with the EF 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8, and 70-200 2.8 IS does appear to work well.

It seems that the high ISO and low ISO DR isn't quite as good as the 5D4. This probably means it is pretty close to the 6D or 6D2 in actual performance That likely also lends creed to the statement that the EOS-R isn't using the 5D4 sensor.
