Caspian tern flying away with its catch. Usually I just delete butt shots, but this one has nice reflection, so....

That's beautiful Shalu and I for one appreciate it didn't get binned.

From that angle we see a different perspective (that sounds stupid I know), and the wings and legs are seen in a way front on's would never be seen.
The light certainly plays beautifully across the landscape there.

I'm not saying this to convince you otherwise, just enjoying what I see.

As nice a shot as that one is Shalu, I must in all good conscience, point out the fact that the fish is facing the wrong direction, and I can't see it's eye. You need to work on that. :-P:-P:lol::lol:

Thank you, Mike! Oops, Karma is a b**** and it came quickly, hahaha :-P:lol: :p. The bird apologized to me and promised it will check where I stand next time and turn around if necessary to give me a better view. And to make up for my brain fart, here is another bird with better view of the fish!

Thanks! One of my favorite raptors, but they can be really hard to get close enough to capture well. This one made a nice close pass while I was driving around the NWR.

That is a stunning shot, Shalu. You are the bird whisperer for sure. However in reading your post, I find a slight inability on my part to believe all the #%&*#$% that you spu forth. :-P:-P However, judging from the success of this photo, there must be at least some truth to the BS,

Really nice shot Robert, however the bird seems a little worse for wear.
