I had the macro lens on my camera when the Rainbow Lorikeets visited today, so I took some shots with it. It's nice to have wild birds that let you approach close enough to get shots like this!

Thanks Richard, it was also unusual to see so many of them together. I don't see them very often and when
I do it's usually just two or three together; yesterday there'd have been about twenty pigging out on those figs.

Thanks very much guys! I thought I was being lazy by not changing lenses but the 100L looks like it beats the 70-200f/4L in terms of sharpness and detail (as it should I guess!)
