Beautiful images. May I ask how you light these? I assume you have some light or reflectors in front. Thanks.

A single Flashpoint R2 TTL LiON speedlite and a 28" beauty dish (I use it because its all metal and can take a fall without breaking), mixing a combination of a 3 stop ND and HSS TTL at close proximity. This is my mobile spontaneous kit for outside. I can take on the full sun at close proximity with it with really fast focal-ratio (F1.2~F1.4). Love how small the kit is with the Fuji system. The beauty dish is big, heavy, all metal, but that is excellent for outdoors when you're by yourself because it survives everything and the speedlite is ridiculous and portable.

Just got my Fujifilm X-T 20. What an awesome camera. I was trained back in the film days. Love the film simulations on this camera.

Halloween is on the way from this morning.

my tests suggest the fringer adapter works better on the Xt3 than it did with the xt2

Eye AF works fairly well with the sigma 18-35 art and the 35L mkii

My step-dad turned 79 yesterday. Had lunch with the folks. The table we were sitting at was horribly backlit.

quick edit with Lightroom Mobile.

For those of you who have switched to C1, how did you make the transition? Did you just point it to the same folder LR was using to reference your photos?

I am thinking I want to pull all my RAF files into C1 and export JPGs back into LR to continue to utilize the mobile and web integration... Did C1 pull in your edits?

I am also hoping I can do an in place upgrade to the full Fuji version from the express version down the road...

I need to play with the C1 freebie to get aclimated with it.

Currently my files are copied from my SD card to an external SSD then culled in bridge then added To my Lightroom catalogue and not copied. From there they are color graded and retouched in PS, then back to LR for the final export.

My files don’t touch my computers hd and it has worked well for me so far. Working on the files have been very fast because the files are not copied and moved and duplicated. Hopefully I can find a similar workflow with C1.

Kim how is your workflow with C1?

I oddly haven't needed to go back and touch any of my older photos since making the switch, but I know you can import your LR library into C1.

Just keep files on SSDs? I know there are terrabyte SSDs but that gets expensive very fast.

I believe Capture One can read metadata (keywords and such) if you set LR to store the data in external files (xmp), at least I use PhotoMechanic and such data, as well as star ratings, seem to come across.

But...the edits you make to the image will not come across with the RAW files. The two systems work on images differently.

What you will find is that Capture One does a much better job out of the box on your RAW files.

You can point Capture One at any folder and it will see the images in that folder.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

At the end of one season I just switched. Nothing got loaded in to LR anymore but everything that was already there stayed there.
