Oct 17, 2018 21:18 | #21498 Nothing worth sharing yet, but I played with the 24-240 on my drive home today. Finding new angles and perspectives being able to jump instantly from 24 all the way to 240. Sharpness isn't competing with primes, but you can't expect it to. Looking forward to spending more time with it. Canon EOS M6 Mark II - EOS R5

TRhoads Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Oct 18, 2018 05:49 | #21500 I spent some time last night trying to pull together a 10 image portfolio for my Motorsports photography...it was a lot harder than I thought it would be...this one from PLM last year had been marked to edit but never done...and it made me think about the guy that was my inspiration when I first got into racing photography...I learned a lot from him about panning, and motion in motorsports...sadly he passed away this past Sunday. navydoc Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Oct 18, 2018 10:54 | #21503 A quick note about updating to the newest version of Photoshop CC 2019. All of my fonts and most of my plugins were automatically carried over from the older version 2018. The two plugins that I had to reestablish, Topaz Simplify and Google's Nik Collection, was just a matter of copying from the old plugins folder to the new one. Gene - My Photo Gallery ||

Capturing the speed and drama is what I really strive for in my racing photography...adding in working with light and shadow creates a little more drama too. Thanks Gene... navydoc wrote in post #18731479 ![]() A quick note about updating to the newest version of Photoshop CC 2019. I'm looking forward to trying out the new auto HDR merge and stitch panorama feature in ACR 11 too. Good to know. I might update this weekend, now that I am caught up on clients work again...I need to do a fresh re-install of the NIK suite, the last update to PSCC has created a glitch with NIK where it loads the tool panel, but its down in the bottom, and 95% missing...I have keyboard shortcuts for it all anyway...but its still annoying to see that fubared tool panel down there. I know it's hard though with the speed of those toys. thanks, I could compose it that way...but in this case, the car has just come from that section of the track, it is Turn 10a and b, and it is a bit more interesting than putting the car on the right side for this frame...it shows where it has come from as opposed to where its going...both concepts will work, depends on the corner. For this one I liked this better. xpfloyd wrote in post #18731526 ![]() me either! It’s always in the way it seems I know right...I turn it off, I usually access it through the Filters Tab anyway.
