From this afternoon with the 400mm DO II + 2x. I never seen them in the crab apple before.

Beautiful photo, Bjarne.

This species is very high on my wish list and I had one in my sights in Spain recently. I could see it in the viewfinder clearly, but the tiresome creature didn't wait long enough for me to focus and fire a burst! :cry:

Gila Woodpecker with damaged beak...She seems to survive okay, since I've spotted her for two years now.
