Back-lit image of barn owl in flight.

Beautifully highlights a magnificent bird.
Very nice scene.

Lovely sequence of 2 very contrasting birds.
Love the outline of the black bird with its feet outstretched above owl.
Fascinating.

I like that, bird on the prowl.
Shots like that help engender the feeling of being there amongst the action.

Beautiful.
Love the light and the extended body. Every part of it looks at full stretch.

Such an awesome series Shalu.
I need your brain. I've located 2 Barn Owls, at least the area they live in (found the pellets,
and nearby farmers have seen (and call it the white owl)....no surprise
they live in two barns in a WMA near me (1 hour). My problem, among many, the WMA will
be off limits until next spring (WMA regulations). But I can study 'how' between now and then.

Thank you very much, Robert! It is cool that you located 2 barn owls, hope you can photograph them when WMA opens. Did the farmers see them flying during daytime? I was told that most barn owls don't fly during daylight. They usually come out around sunset and goes to rest around sunrise. So it is hard to photograph them in flight, the window is very short and have to use high ISO typically. We are very fortunate that a few barn owls in a local park decided to hunt during the day this year. I was told this never happened before over there.

To be honest I just have not had anything worthy of showing as we have not ventured out, and just nothing of note to photograph.
