This is lovely! I love the way the flowers on her shirt pick up the color of the leaves in the background. I'd like to see a crop with her more to the left of the frame, less centered, and I'm a little distracted by the skin of her ankle, but I'd be happy with this shot if I were her. 8/10

Nice Photo
the wall in the bottom left corner ruined it for me, otherwise I would've enjoyed the lovely color contrast you managed to produce!

Really like how u used the pink lines of the wall the frame in ur mcdel.. overall it's a good image only nitpick I have is the wall fights for visual attention... separating her off the wall and shooting shallow or using a gridded light on her and knocking down the rest... but it's still a good shot 7.5/10

Thanks a lot!

I know we're not supposed to rate the person who's just rated us, but firstly I love your image, and secondly this thread dies for months at a time so I wanted to keep it going.

9/10 - a very clever idea and really well executed. Very original.

Love this... love the colors. The only thing I wish is the blue wasn’t cut off at the end. 9.75/10

8/10 I really like this one. The only things that occurred to be were (a) might have cropped a bit differently (down from the top so less space would be given to the trees in the background), (b) would have been nice if the puppies' eyes could have been slightly more open (they look like they are about to fall asleep), & (c) perhaps a little bit more contrast. However, I find the image as a whole extremely appealing!

OK, here is one:

9/10

Would have been a 10 if the model had arranged her antennae in the vertical position :-)

Lovely shot, stunning background (not sure how you did that in this one), beautiful butterfly and very yellow flower. What more does a macro-man need? Really nice.

I'll give you a butterfly back in return, though mine is not nearly so beautiful, sigh

Wow, thank you! :-) Love the comment on the antennae! It was just one of those "accidental shots." I had just gotten the SL2 to take on a trip and decided to walk down the road and take random photos. I didn't even know butterflies were still around in October. It was also kind of breezy outside. I was very surprised and honestly can't take much credit at all, but I'm glad you liked it. I like yours also, but I know from the Rules of the game that I can't take another turn yet so will leave the rating etc. to someone else to keep the game going. . .

Edit PS: I see that your model has her antennae upright! Much more professional of her, lol!

Beautiful image.

Hi Leo and welcome to POTN. What is expected in this thread is to rate the photo above yours on a 1-10 scale such as 9/10, 7.5/10, etc. You can also add critique stating reasons for your rating. If you will, please edit your post above to reflect this.

I'm not going to post a pic so I won't rate yours, but I like it. Beautiful scene!:-)

7/10. Love the scenery, the leading line of the shore to the light house is also very nice.
However, your horizon is of several degrees to the right, it is lacking a bit of sharpness.
