Interesting photo, with interaction between two bugs. That fly is very tiny!

They both are, I was surprised to see a fly when I magnified the picture during editing.
It was invisible to the naked eye...

Thanks
Dom

Gear in France seems to be very expensive, right at the bitter end of the scale and we don't have too many camera shops where I am; certainly none that sell equipment at prices out of the ordinary. I haven't been able to locate a second-hand outlet either that does not have prices bordering on the insane. There's a shop an hour and a half away I once went into to wander around, but everything is locked up and they were exceedingly unfriendly and snooty about letting me touch anything. I felt like a tourist asking for a cheese sandwich in a Michelin restaurant!

There should be opportunities to acquire gear while on trips. Years ago gear was quite a bit cheaper in France than in Canada, and I took advantage of that at the time on visits.

What a shame it is so hard for you to find used gear.

KEH.com is a store that specializes in used and they rate the condition and give a warranty. That makes their customers like me feel extremely comfortable ordering used bodies/lenses sight unseen. I can return it if there are any issues.

I don't travel a lot Archie. Not been out of France for four years either. It's a pain, to be sure.

That's brilliant. There are some stores in the UK like that but I am not sure if their kindness extends to overseas customers. I should ask.....you never know.

I missed this one - sorry. And I have to say I love the light on it. Very nice and natural.

Thanks for the comment, appreciated. The light was from diffused flash - good that it appears natural.

Scanning Electron Microscope. That spider shot looks almost like a (coloured) SEM image, it's so close.
