A pair of Topknot Pigeons that were part of a flock in my garden this morning. We don't see them in the burbs very often, but our palm trees are laden with berries and they seem quite partial. Very elegant in flight.

I kinda got distracted from the Chickadee. Would have been nice if we had a little more light.

Great shot, especially under the dark conditions.

I'd bet Pondrader's new machine laughs at high ISOs.

Why do so many Americans keep mistakenly calling a Coal Tit a 'Chickadee'?

Get it right!

I love the rain... But today was cold wind and snow in the air.. My second favourite weather condition to shoot in.

There is nothing like shooting wildlife in a blizzard. Sliding into the forest with the game and the light defused.. bouncing ... illuminating..

Nothing like it.

The red pole is a far north bird who comes down from the north to follow the food it needs for the winter.. Then returns come spring.

At the moment buttons are very elusive.. Thank goodness I'm a fast learn.
