Quick chance to try out the new setup under very dreary conditions

Beautiful birds.
You've captured those very nicely.

I like dreary conditions.
Often quite nice time for photos.
Eliminates variables that make life miserable in the photographic world that come into play with more intense lighting.

Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo
These beautiful birds love pine cones and these characters were picking them up and carting them round under the tree.
Not the best light. Mix of sun and shade.

They are very endearing creatures with their slow casual flight and their constant call wafting across the landscape.

Yesterday we had a fairly large wind and rain storm but I was treated with a Red Shouldered Hawk who was in the yard. I have never seen one in our yard before.
