Never tried the peak design, I have a number of the Think Tanks Retrospective canvas bags that I really like, it's my around the city camera bag. I agree with you on the Peak design clip system, I picked up their Clutch handstrap to tes with my Sony body and it's really well thought out.

I've got the retro 7, fairly small, but massive compared to peak sling 5L. Retro bags are also too heavy, I feel it after a day of use. I also have smaller bags that can fit a similar amount to the peak, but the design and fit are better with the peak.

One of my favorite shoulder bags is the lowepro passport sling. I really grew into the bag despite feeling kind of cheap initially. Similar size to the Retro , but feather light.

If I overpack that little bag, then I do belt or backpack. I won't tolerate discomfort.

why didn't I test it with f4? such a noob lol what do you guys think? about the softness, not me being a noob :P these were on a tripod with 2 sec timer.

The C/Y 35-70/3.4 is such an awesome lens. Sometimes I wish that it was a little wider, but I absolutely can't complain about the performance in the focal range that it does cover -

will that work on airplane's overhead cabin?

Yes, I do it all the time. Just have to keep stuff out of the big expandable pockets on the outside.

That's a good looking bag and probably really functional but I couldn't possibly imagine carrying it full of equiptment, if I can't comfortably pickit up it's definately not gong on my back.

I would never hike with it that full, but to get across the country on a plane it works nicely.

Baan you scared me at first. I thought those were with the FE100-400GM and said to self as I viewed them that
something is very wrong. Then I re-read and realized it is the 24-70, known to suck with the 2.0TC. Well suck might
be an exaggeration. This just based on what I've read. I don't own a 24-70 lens of any make.

Took one of old time favorites out today, FE16-35/4.
Skies still crap but at least the monsoon is over for a bit.
Also I noticed my Derelict album on Flickr has few entries and needed to nab this
barn before it is demolished.

4 shots into HDR merge/PScc. I tried Photomatics (latest version) and a super funky pink sky resulted.
I did confirm with Poof that this rendition was super close to what we actually saw.
C/C please. Lot's to learn on landscaping.

The image seems overall a bit flat and lacking contrast to my eye Robert. Not having been there, I have nothing to compare with except my own preconceptions of course.

I believe a pink image usually denotes that Photomatix doesn't support the latest camera yet.

The Gary Fong Lightsphere makes a good light when you know how to control ISO, Shutterspeed and flash power.
