My teenage son calls this black-and-white ruffed lemur "Martin", because he says the bushy white mutton-chop sideburns remind him of Martin Van Buren

I'm not sure why this guy (gal?) was in the Small Mammal House, but the colors are beautiful. Canon EOS 7D Mark II, EOS M5, and EOS 100 (film SLR)

I used a tripod to try to get this one sharper than the full moon photo I posted last week (POST 18735403), which was hand-held. This is near last quarter, and the terminator (the line between sunlight and darkness) is in a position where the shadows reveal a lot of interesting detail. North is at the top. Yes - it seemed as though he left net in a few minutes, then pulled it up. Each time at leat four or five or more small fish, maybe six to eight inches. I only watched close by for a short time, but walked around further, and had lunch, and I'd guess he would have enough to feed several people. Lots of prep to clean such small fish though. Yes - possibly, but I had the sense that this was the catch. Wished I had gone back when I thought of it, but they left. while I was having lunch and watching from a distance. Thought they may have been Asian, or even Greek ... Panasonic G9: Panasonic Vario 14 -140 f/3.5-5.6
