These are from some years ago. Apparently it is an assassin bug (?). It was in the backyard and I haven't seen one since.




Yeah, looks like a wheel bug. And it looks like it is snarled in a spider web.

I thought it was hanging from its own thread. Shows what I know (not much!). Probably an old web from one of the MANY orb-weavers around. I was on a riding lawn mower and nearly hit it with my face.
