They definitely are a huge commitment. I find myself doing hunting, fishing and exploring more than the story itself! I played SpiderMan too and really enjoyed it, the DLC is waiting for me when I finally finish RDR2 :D

i havent been able to see one in person yet but my local shop is raving about the nikon full frame mirrorless models, says hasnt had any returns as of yet, looks promising anyways, one feature on my olympus i wish the sony had is the 2 buttons on the side by the lens removal button. on the oly i can map those to what i want, i find them incredbly useful and a very natural spot as your fingers are like right there,,,, when ever i switch over from the oly to sony i feel for those,,,,,,and sadly not there,,,,-?

I own both the EM1.2 and now 2 Sonys, so I do the same thing. IMO it was silly for Sony to put the lens release on that side of the lens when function buttons could have been put there instead for a more seamless transition from any other brand. By no means is it a dealbreaker, but it’s one of the few areas where Sony still lags behind (ergos). That said, the EM1.2 is one of the best cameras I’ve ever used in terms of ergos. All of the buttons/dials just seem to all fall naturally where they should.

Have you seen this site? https://ebird.org …127945/activity?yr=all&m= (external link)

Was supposed to have the trailer out by now and ready. I did get the Jeep fixed but then the Dog was diagnosed with diabetes so now we are dealing with that! Still hoping to get to Bosque

It has not been my year for trips that is for sure.

I took crappy pics in Philadelphia .

Yes sir I hit up e-bird every couple of days for the counts.
Here's another link in another format, to me more quickly shows the counts
https://ebird.org/hotspot/L127945 (external link)

Crane counts are low currently. More cold will help that.
I'm good with that. We get 5000 Sandhills every year here.
I'm going for anything other than Cranes !

18 days until departure.
1. new BFGoodrich AT02. Done.
2. re-welded the rear hitch mount step up. Done.
3. Camera gear sorted. Done
4. Clothes....hmmm....close to done.
5. I need to top off the propane tank then I'm ready for the I-40 marathon!

Eriet don't fret Bosque. After Bosque we slowly head north for Crow Canyon/Dinetah, then west to Canyon De Chelly, then south to Sonora-Desert Museum
then toward White Sands. Might be another opportunity to shake hands on our circle.
We don't stay in any one spot for long though.

Make sure the hotshoe fix has been done. If not get it over with via a shipment to Precision. Painless experience. Had a sensor cleaning while there but your's won't need that.

Thanks. I had seen that on Sony's website but hadn't taken the time yet to check the serial #... sure enough it's in the affected range. I popped a Flashpoint TT685S on it to check and it's solid, no rattles as of now. I'm guessing it's something that gets worse with time. I'll contact Sony and send it out after my softball tournaments are all finished on Tuesday.

I've bought from MPB before, so I had no issues going for their excellent condition version to save an extra hundred. Super company to deal with. Unfortunately, mine doesnt arrive till next week, and I might not be home to receive it, my wife will :-P

I confess, I paid extra for 2 day shipping b/c I wanted to try it out at 2 softball tournaments within the next few days ;-)a. It also helps that I live in TN, so it didn't have very far to travel from NJ.

As its been a while since due to life getting in the way, however as always holidays provide a welcome relief from the day-to-day. Here are a couple from my holiday in Cornwall (UK). It also relit the love I have for my 16-35 f4, such a great lens for every day usage, I keep toying with the 24-105 for traveling (already have 55mm f1.8 and 85mm 1.8) but resist as I rarely use the longer lengths I have.

Yeaaah. So I was playing with hosting on my website just now and having to resize for the forum was kind of annoying. Need to fine a workaround.

Still going to cancel flickr on a matter of principle. Have had a while and the cost isn't too bad...just don't think that the value proposition is there and no point in sticking around just because its a habit. I don't really care for the social aspects. I'm pretty proud of the things I shoot, but the majority of what I shoot will never hit explore because there's a really strong bias against portraits in the algorithm. And if all I need is a hosting platform, there are plenty of free ones out there...or other services I'm currently paying for. google drive/photos, amazon prime, my website, etc etc etc.

yes the em1.2 feels great, almost to small so i added a arcaswiss right angle mount to it,i like many features of the oly,the button layout as umention is awsome and just feels natural but i do like the joystick on the sony....not sure what i would like more,,,,the ibis of the oly on the sony,,,,or the sony joystick on the oly,,,,haha. i think the ibis of the oly on the sony, theres no comparision in ibis, what ever forumla oly is using its simply 10 fold better than the competion
