Gorgeous photo. Beautiful colours and composition.
The pheasant is really well portrayed in such a natural looking setting.

Really wonderful photo of an equally beautiful bird.

10 metres! You did very well. Hawks and others don't trust a soul here and are soon off to higher ground. Very wary.

Thank you kindly! They are hard to get out in the open that's for sure. :-)

Very lucky to get some blue sky out of the cloud today otherwise it would have been so so capture as there is nothing worse than white/grey sky to spoil a bird image . I waited a hour for this guy to look at me and he did for a couple of seconds at same time as the clouds parted for a bit of blue sky...Very lucky on this one as the rest of the day was grey sky throughout.

Beautiful shot Pax. The green background really compliments the green coloring on the starling. The bird is very nicely, and uniquely posed.

I especially like your second shot, pcs. The bird stands out so beautifully. It's really 3-dimensional looking.

That's a wonderful shot, Rob. That red-shouldered hawk almost looks like it enjoys posing for you in the rain. The motion of the raindrops really adds to the appeal of the photo.
