I love the color contrast between the gull and the background, and the reflection in the second photo!

Both are super sharp and super nice. But the second one with the reflections of the bird and the background is really top notch!

Cheers,

I have been busy with my new 80D and my newly acquired 70-200 f/2.8L IS II lens but it is frustrating to try to post photos here. My usual method of using photobucket links does not seem to work on this site.

You can load directly without going through a third party. Go to Reply to Thread or New Thread and the choose Upload Images. Should be jpeg under 10 meg. Works well.

Thank you! I didn't want to burden this thread with posting picture issues but I will give this a try.

I attended a high school rodeo a few weeks ago in Potter Valley, California and was able to take these shots of a pole bending competition. These were shot with my 80D, 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II. Aperture priority, f/2.8, ISO 200, 1/1250.

I like that one. I have a very similar shot to yours with 3 turtles on a log.

Neat shot of a time past, Joe. I surely do like that in b&w.
