lovely images, are they handheld, I have used this lens on my 5DIII but often find it not as good as my 7DII. I originally got it for the full frame but its ended up pretty much 100% of the time on the 7DII

Hello no I used a tripod with a glimbalhead. I love the 5D III but for birding I think the 7D II is better except for higher ISO I think.

true, I set my 7DII up to go no more than ISO 3200 whwn Im using auto ISO.

Another welcome swallow, this time tracked (albeit only for two frames) at 600mm. The depth of field is pretty thin as you can see from the sand.

Fab shots, you seem to be getting much better results with fast subjects than I am but with the same kit.

Probably down to your better skill, but can you share your AF settings and technique?
