I am working on some photos I took yesterday. When I looked carefully at this shot I saw some interesting little pests, aphids, that I did not see when I was taking the shot.

Beautiful orchid.
I'm amazed at the tiny creatures lurking in or on flowers.
Some so tiny they look like specks of dust but enlarged and they're alive and well.
I only remarked yesterday as to what we eat fresh from the garden! Extras that is.

You've captured them very well.

CBT, the smaller aphids near the largest one may have hatched in place. You know that some aphids give live birth instead of, or in addition to, laying eggs? I've seen it happen in my yard.
