I'd have let the creative interpretation regarding interpretation of stacked go if it was a macro image - but it's not, so the challenge remains, please.

TPBM is a stacked macro image (external link).

You contravened a convention in thi thread to kep things moving. Choosing an esoteric topic, as you did, could stop the thread for a week or more. Think about it, how many people in POTN have stacking software? This is a fun thread, not a processing thread.

So, my image remains and TIBM is turbulant

It's a slime mold with a strange life cycle, at least strange to human understanding. Originally posted in the fungus thread: POST 17348500

Then a follow-up with the ID: POST 17355176

A later follow-up: POST 17364658

Agreed. The component organisms, I gather, are basically amebas (from Wikipedia's article on the genus). I seriously doubt that they're conscious, but they gather together and make these little towers to reproduce themselves.

We are getting a bit off-topic but I will just add that when I was in college I became highly enamored of Volvox after I saw them under a microscope in a Botany lab--so much so that I used the professor's catalog to order a slide of Volvox, and then had an 8 x 10 color print made for my dorm room (this was way pre-digital times). The individual organisms make spherical colonies and when you watch them under the microscope they roll around like miniature katamari (of course this pre-dated video games as well, but you get the idea). Seeing Volvox was a really exciting moment for me, lol!

In the interest of moving the thread along, hope this will count as "aquatic life"

A medieval village - most of the buildings have been rescued from other places.
