As you said, car shows are tough to shoot & I like what you've done to isolate this beauty.

I like this...and I can see you are trying to tell a story with this multi exposure shot. I have just one suggestion as an alternative take...I would like to see the young man in his nicer, non athletic clothes after the lay up, rather than at the start. To show how he has matured and moving on to something bigger in life.

That arrangement wouldn't work, and the image already accomplishes that intent.

Thanks. Never really finished it, I was going to put my nephew hanging out the window but never did it.

Time to put your finishing touches on it! Then post it in the creative edits thread.

Just playing around. Tried making it look like an artistic watercolor effect. Not sure if I like how they came out though.

This was taken at a preserved farmhouse in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, where William Shakespeare lived. It was a re-enactment of a meal in those days. Contrast was a big problem as the room was very dark and low autumn sun was streaming in through the window. Lots of visitors around so I couldn't move to a better position. I rescued much of the pic in PS and Lightroom, then decided to play with it further and try to create an oil painting effect, befitting the Middle Ages.

I like #2. To me, #1 has a look like the poor bugger was frozen carbonite, a la Han Solo. It's beautiful, but felt sad. But a hundred folks will look at it and give completely different opinions.
