I was reading that in Canberra they had similar problem so the govt issued traps to people and they trapped the birds for them. Not sure what happened to the minors that were trapped but by all reports it helped bring back a lot of the native birds that had disappeared.They are intelligent. They gang up on parents trying to feed their chicks. Dave
