Went out into the bush for 4 hours this afternoon and it seemed the birds had organised a no photo day, choosing the worst places to perch.
This Variegated fairy-wren slipped up and gave me one though.

Ive also been getting quite a few of those "no photo days " lately :).......Mind you a fair protion of blame here can be attributed to those bloody minor birds.....Its terrible how much they have wrecked the local bird population by scaring them off. I was reading that in Canberra they had similar problem so the govt issued traps to people and they trapped the birds for them. Not sure what happened to the minors that were trapped but by all reports it helped bring back a lot of the native birds that had disappeared.

They are intelligent. They gang up on parents trying to feed their chicks.
