robamy Cream of the Crop More info | Sep 25, 2018 17:27 | #171 This is the first Monarch Butterfly we raised from a caterpillar. We planted Swamp Milkweed near our pond this year and caterpillars showed up. Lets hope this female makes the migration. It was very rewarding to see it grow into a butterfly. I don't know much about butterflies, but a bit of Googling suggests that it might be a female Leopard Lacewing.
