Slightly messy environment but a couple of military ships.

Left: RFA Tidesurge (A138), Tide-class replenishment tanker of the British Royal Fleet Auxiliary, displacement 39 kt

The Research vessel Discovery. Leica M3 c1960. Moored off the Thames embankment London.
Now a visitor attraction in Dundee, Scotland, where it was made and launched in 1901.
Length 172ft (52m) Beam 33ft (10m).
Powered by coal, steam and sail. 450hp engine

One from today. This ship weathervane has been indicating wind direction since 1780. 1.52m tall and weight 51kg.
Located on the cupola of the Guildhall in Rochester, Kent, UK.
The inset information plate refers to Charles Dickens Great Expectations.
Restored in 2016.
