Really having fun with Aurora HDR. I bought it through the Mac App Store, which is stand alone only. I contacted them and they were very kind to convert me to the full license so I could use it as a plugin in LR. I like that you can HDR and just mask of an area to change or not. I did 3 layers on this one; the sky, his face, and the rest of the foreground.

A generation or two ago of camera sensors, this would have needed a couple of exposures to capture the entire scene. This image is from a single exposure on an APS-C Fujifilm X-H1. Raw conversion in Raw Photo Processor and finished in PS.

RPP does no NR - not needed anyway.

Cameras have gotten pretty darn good.
