Haven't been in the field for a while as my eyes have really deteriorated since they measured me up for a cataract op which I'm having on Monday and I'm not allowed to drive. A$2.5K for each eye but I can't get the 2nd eye done till after the new year so I don't know if I'll be posting much as I'm even having difficulty reading text. Someone said to me that it'll be the best lens I ever bought so I hope so at those prices :-)

I got these in the garden this morning and I'm thinking that perhaps I should have shot jpg as I can't trust my PP at the moment but anyways, they tell a story. The birds are loving my new bird bath :-)

If you thought that bird is pretty, your surgery is a downright emergency.:-D However, you did a fine job of taking and processing the images. Best wishes for great success with the operation.

There sure have been a bunch of excellent contributions as of late.

It's been kinda dead in my area. There has been a little group of Killdeer at the park I like to visit during lunch the last couple days, but that's about it.

"Stinkbug" - It's not just for breakfast anymore.

Oddly enough, Shoebills are rarely photographed sitting or lying down on the ground. Usually they are found standing straight up or moving in swamps very slowly or deliberately.
