I thought that, maybe. The head just looked different. Thanks. Gripped 6D, gripped 6D2, gripped 70D, 80D and a bag full of lenses.

Upgraded from a 50D to a 6D Mark II and hope I'll be able to get more time to snap pics and process. ![]() ![]() Wish I had more time for this photography thing....

They are similar in size but the 6D2 is little bigger. I don't really notice it much when I use one vs the other.

Thinking about getting smaller one (M50) over 80d. Then I saw a great deal on 6d2. Making sure i am not getting something even bigger than 80d if not smaller. Canon 6D Mark 2, 50mm STM

I would love to get one but it is expensive in the UK. I would like to shoot FF with Canon. Is the 6D Mark II the best option / bang for the buck compared to the EOS-R ? ……......(EOS-R body only is UK £2,349 x 1.28 Exchange Rate = US $3,006). (EOS 6D Mark II body only is UK £1,549 x 1.28 Exchange Rate = US $1,982). How quiet can the 6D shoot. I believe there is a silent option? Thanks. At $1000 at the end of 2018, the 6D Mark II is the best value for a modern full frame camera.

The silent mode can reduce the sound of the shutter by 2/3, but also reducing the FPS to three frames per second. I wish the 6D Mk II was $1000 in the UK!!!! 7D & 450D | Canon 50mm 1.8 II | Canon 24-105L | Canon 85mm 1.8 | Canon EF-S 18-55 IS | Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM | Manfrotto 055XPROB & 804RC2 | SpeedLite 430EX II & 2 x YN560 II.
