Nice shots Jeff. Tell me about it, we are getting so much wet and gray weather lately. Crazy weather. On a plus note I have had a belted Kingfisher in my yard the last to days. I assume hunting my goldfish in our small pond but I can't confirm this. I have not been able to get a shot yet. Hopefully I can get something. They are so skittish. I have never seen one in our yard before.

Its been the strangest year for weather, and now I'm looking out the window at snow falling so hard its almost horizontal... -?

I have Kingfishers male and female all summer in the pond but as you say a guy would have to get in a blind and wait him out. O and my pond is frozen over lol.. I think we got 8 inches or so of snow over night.

Wear your best " I'm a tree nothing over here" outfit lol or your coming up blank lol :p

This is great Jeff. Not sure how to describe the quality I'm seeing. A soft, yet detailed texture to it.

Yes I'm processing stuff that maybe I normally would not but just trying to see what and how the R did.. Honestly I was still only a couple hours into this camera on these bird pics.. I didnt even have a working knowledge of who to change settings. I can't really believe I got anything it was so dark and both birds were moving at an alarming rate. The guy on the left was having like a bath on a stick lol... cleaning himself up.. I'm quite curtain the 7DII would have not done better..

I never got a good chance at birds and fur with the R... I think I may have to get another so I can explore some more..
