LOL, if you didn't tell me that it was a lady gaga concert, I never would have guessed. None of those people look like her! Why can't she just dress normally? lol.

How did you ever get a 400 f5.6 lens into a concert with your 5dII?

Canon 7D | 70-200mm f2.8is II L | 24-70mm f2.8 L | 50mm f1.8 | 28mm f1.8 | Canon 1.4x TC II | 580EX II

I stuck the lens down the arm of my jacket and carried my jacket in instead of wearing it. They are so busy looking for backpacks they don't look at your jacket. I did use that setup as you might have seen from the EXIF file.

I wished I would have taken more pictures of the crowd as the came in but I didn't want to draw that much attention. They were even more bizarre than the stage costumes...

why did you stop down to f/11 for some shots? that's a fixed aperture prime, right?

It's a 100-400m f/4.5-5.6, I was up in the nosebleed seats and had a 2x doubler extension that makes the lens go to f/11 when zoomed out all the way.

The set was 5 stories high with a 2 story set of legs spread apart so she could come out of the vagina for her introduction to Born This Way. There was a bridge that was built to make a circle that went out over the audience so they could ride horses and a motorcycle around in a circle over the bridge and into the audience. There was at least 5 tour buses, 2 of them with custom Lady Gaga painted over the entire buses along with I don't know how many semi-trucks parked outside. I've never seen anything like it before, talk about over the top!
