I am not sure if you are aware or not, but you have a lot more 'information' in your moon shots than what you have shown.
I hope that you don't mind, but I downloaded one from the other day and your latest (uncropped) shots, they look VERY good after Curves and some other adjustments, plus sharpening.
The only reason I downloaded it was to 'see' if there was enough image information there to make them look better, and sure enough.
(I only used a quickie program too, I wasn't even using Photoshop)

If you want I can send them to you, or, post them here. Don't worry, I will not use them, I only do that to pictures that I think have a lot more potential, I don't steal photos. :)

Randy

Hi Randy! I am always open to new things, but I thank you that you did not post your possible improvement. I love to get the maximum clean looking detail in things, but I don't like an over sharpened look either - it is popular, but I don't like it myself.

I am VERY curious to see your improvement though!! Please send them to me!

Thanks for making the effort! :)

Regards

Mike

Mike,
I can't figure out how to send it to you.
I tried using Flickr too, there wasn't an option for me to send you an image 'privately'.
Uploading an image on POTN privately is new to me, I only know how to do it on a public page like this page.
If you can tell me how, I will, but if I can't figure it out the only other way is for you to let me have your e-mail address.
In case you want that, my e-mail address is, recrisp@suddenlink.net

If you don't want to send your e-mail address, I understand.

Randy

I finally got the chance to use my Sigma 150-600 with sigma 2x and 1.4x stacked together. Was amazed the autofocus still worked. Image was adjusted a tad, but not sizing or cropping was done to it. If I tried to get a 100% crop it was to blurry for my liking.

Was chilly and windy and made things difficult for me. Will be attempting more this coming weekend.
