Just picked up a 6D with a shutter count of 221 for $925, can’t wait to start snapping with it!

That's great!

What do you like to photograph?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I have a 6D that I have had since it was released. I have had no issues with it. But because of its age just bought a 6 D Mark II that I will get from Santa. I was going to sell it, but after reading some threads and seeing market price for what they seem to be getting, I will be keeping mine. If you know how to work with your 6 D and I do, the complaints I read are amusing. Will I be happier with the 6 D Mark II? Will not know for awhile, but I do know my only complaint was not having a articulating screen like my 60D.

Yeah, I miss the Articulating Screen too from my 60D, but I can live with it, should have been on the 6D to begin with...............

Hand held night time shot - I am still stoked about the low light capabilities of this camera:

I'm really struggling to decide if I should make an upgrade or stick with my current 60D. Financially I want to really justify the upgrade. Is there anything you could share about the upgrade process?

The only thing you need to consider carefully are your lenses. EF-S lenses won't work anymore and might need replacement. Everything else will be 'smaller' - e.g. your 50 mm lens on the 60D frames like a 80 mm lens. On the 6D it now frames like a 50 mm. (Yes I know, a 50 is a 50 and behaves like a 50 independent of sensor size - but what you get on your picture for the same distance is still different). This might not suit your habits and puts pressure on buying different glass (e.g. get a 85 mm to achieve the same you did with the 50 mm on the 60D).
Ergonomically, the bodies are almost identically - no change there.
