They figured the GF owners can afford them already :-P

Man I should have ordered the 50R when B&H had that crazy lens deal.

Nope, you just select it in post as you are going to be editing the image up anyway.

Also in the free version for those who don't need all the bells etc...

Discovered C1 is matching the film sim when you import even though the curve stays on auto... I took a couple of shot using Arcos and after importing they stayed black and white...

Just checked C1 12 & my raws are showing with Standard(Provia) as the default option now that I updated it to use the 12 version of the engine, I had it set to use 11, the corresponding JPEGs were shot in Eterna/cinema. I'll shoot something soon and upload the files to see if it me or not.

EDIT, yep showing as Auto on any new images I import & the raw looks really close to the style of the JPEG, cool.

I wonder if the fact that it is matching but the selection in the menu is not changing might be a bug... Seems odd it matches up the image to the film sim, but it leaves it at auto...

Still debating (internally) whether to go all in on Fuji (and leave Canon/Sony). But my numbers tell me that X100F is my weapon of choice for all personal work.

I’ll email them on Monday. It would be nice to see the

Chatting to P1 today and they have sent in the request to show what film profile was used rather than 'Auto' to the R&D dept of C1. See what the future updates give so, fingers crossed.

Great to hear! That would be a awesome addition...

For anyone using manual lens and would like to update the EXIF data to match, I was able to get a working script using EXIFtool thanks for the help of someone on the official forums...
https://forum.phaseone.com/En/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=29412 (external link)

Scripts are only available to the Mac version since they are based on AppleScript... Now that I can update my lens info, have the film sims match; that's two features that I was missing after doing the switch from LR... In version 12 they have an easier "open with photoshop" option, so my stitching needs are covered. Though I would like to see them add their own stitching function...

With C1 12 though now I can say all my processing is done there... Only using LR for it's cloud since and cataloging...
