This is a new section near downtown SATX called San Pedro Creek Cultural Park. It offers a nice view of the new Frost Tower. It was a bit windy the morning I took this but the sunrise was nice. Two shot blended manually.

Went over to Hood River OR for some kayaking this weekend. Stayed at a friends house who has pretty nice views of Mt. Hood from their patio.

This was a pretty heavy crop from the E50/1.8 (75mm equiv)

quick ttl flash question,
please bear with me if i am not explaining things quite right, my understanding is a ttl flash will adjust its power according to the settings on your camera and the scene itself correct?
if u say have your aperture at f2 iso 100 the flash will set itself for correct exposure based on those settings, and if same scene you change aperture to f16 same iso 100 the flash will raise its power to get proper exposure based on that correct?
well i was happily shooting a rock band the other eve and using my new samyang 35mm f1,4, i had aperture at f2.8 wanted some background blur and iso 400, i then wanted more of the scene in focus so changed to f8 and i got a under exposure signal on the meter, i shot away getting carried away by the moments,

when i was editing later i was truly underexposed in almost all shots i had to raise the exposure in light room to +30-50 ev,,,, i was surprised by this as i assumed ttl flash would adjust accordingly,

i then shot a freinds bday party the folowwing eve and i bumped my expsosure comp up .3 and .7 ev and my images were still underexposed,,,, they looked decnt in the view finder,,,, i am embarased to say i dont know how to read a histogram properly so i cant go by that,
i dont remember struggling with exposure this much when using a flash before, please help me with what i am doing clearly wrong......

Very nice Vinz. I might suggest doing some very slow pans or slides as well as zoom-ins and zoom-outs.

Thank you Gene. I will try to improve for sure. I got busy. A family portrait today and another RE gigs with drone. Another RE gig tomorrow with drone. I hope the trend continues.

I got a family portrait today and I intentionally just slapped in my 135Sigma. It's awesome except one thing. It's also the reason why i bought the 85mm. When there's kids, it's difficult to get their attention when you are far away.

Yeah, the working distance on the 135 for full length is not good with kids.

I was doing what he mentioned about simply turning off the trigger first and then back on when I was ready to use the strobe. I do like his suggestion on the custom button and assigning it to the AEL.
