amazon.ca finally got the tamron in stock, i pulled the trigger,,,,then i noticed a rokinon 50mm f1.4 af on sale,,,so i figured,,hey merry christmas to me,,,haha got both.excited to have them for xmas family getogethers etc. now with 3 samyang/rokinon af lenses i think i will have to get the dock, does any one here own the dock?i read u can customize things using the dock, i had one for my sigma 150-600 canon mount, i could customize a few things, i liked that dock

I just bought a 35 1.4/50 1.4 bundle. Even though they seem to work fine they’re on older FW so I have a dock on order. It’s coming from Japan (via Amazon) so it’s supposed to be here in a week or so. I’ve read that you can adjust the the AF, MF ring, and aperture. I found a nice write up/walkthrough on using it that I’ll try to find and link. I have no idea why US sellers don’t have these for sale. They seem readily available on eBay and Amazon via merchant sellers. Mine is technically a Samyang dock, but that shouldn’t matter.

Awesome. I love those whispey kind of clouds.

Yeah, I love these wispy cloud formations, we only typically see them in our area during the winter months.

next time I will just find a place to stay out there...explore Olympic...

The peninsula is awesome! Love it out there! Haven't been that far out in quite a while. Maybe next year. Nice Rainier shots Travis!

Good plan. Its a funny area...we went past this guy hitchhiking at night with an ax. Probably wondering why he couldn't get a ride. Then there was the place down the road from Forks (Twilight tie-in) selling not only firewood but special Vampire-proof firewood.

Yeah, Backwoods of the PNW has a lot of of weirdo people and places and that comes from someone who spends a lot of time in rural Idaho! ;-)a

picked up a m43 to nex adapter on amazon, thought i would try a few of my manual focus m43 lenses on the ol a7iii, to my surprise the rokinon 50mm f1,2 for my olympus works without using crop mode, there was some vignetting but mostly cleared up using the lens profile in lightroom, theres much more depth of field control using this lens on the sony than the olympus, so glad i can use these on both with the use of a cheap adapter
once again gene is my always willing test subject haha

Hi Vinz , wo things come to mind looking at your photo, the reflection on the ceiling above and to the right of the shower as well as the reflection on the right side of the window, looks like a door frame or something. Also it's unfortunate that the basin overhead lamps have been cut off. Otherwise I like it, kind of a minimalist look to it.

Jose

thanks. that's the angle where i can showcase the bathtub well. I have another angle the sink.

Rats! I waited and didn't update until 4 days ago when I hadn't seen anything negative on the October release.

The good news is that I haven't had the problem...yet.

i wonder if that is what caused my issue, although I can’t remember if I actually updated to 2.0

wow i just cheked the site for my a7iii and it shows working on the update,,,, i already updated when it was released in oct, what exactly is the issue u are having? i recenty purchased a sony brand uhs card for slot 1 supposed to have the fastest write times, i have decided to shoot in uncompressed raw to see if i notice any quality differences so thats why i got the high speed card. i notice it doesnt seem to write very fast,i see the progress in the bar at the top, and i only shoot singe shots, not using the buffer, doesnt seem any faster than my old non uhs card, is the issue u are having related to read/write speeds?
