That's beautiful.
Is that owl out of its territory?
I know nothing about them, other than how nice they are.
Very nice photos

Northern Flicker photographed at dusk, post processing salvaged the image.
High ISO and very poor lighting. The EF 70-300L lens is an amazing tool. But hopefully soon it's going to be replaced with an EF 100-400L II.

The white halo in your shot isn't very obtrusive, especially as one's eyes are drawn to the bird, but I have been known to clone them out sometimes. It can be tedious, though. Otherwise, if it really bothers you and you don't want to go to that trouble, I would hope that Photoshop has a blend or soften tool, so maybe a small brush on a low setting and run it along the very edge of the branch?

I think a small brush of the Blur tool set to Normal, might help reduce the halo.

Another Fairy Wren.

Really beautiful.
Interesting, I'm just watching one on our windowsill.
Colours similar but different.
Yours has far more brown in its back feathers
Gather Victoria. Subtle diffences on our island.
Very nice photo.
